Watercolor Belize
We’re back. We had a great time in Belize. We were on a five acre island called Tobacco Caye for most of the time; our big accomplishment was going five days without putting on shoes or sandals. I have some photos of the Mayan ruins at Altun Ha on the mainland, but it’ll be a little while before I find time to post them. In the meantime, here is Anita’s watercolor of the place where we stayed. A couple of photos from Tobacco Caye are below.

Photos are nice, but drawings, even better…wonderful! I look forward to reading about your trip. After I visited the gardens of NZ while visiting my sister, I posted NZ Week. I know I’ll enjoy traveling to Belize vicariously through your posts!

Welcome back! Still I could guess that you’d probably still like to be spending more time in an ocean warm enough to swim in this time of year. I’m looking forward to more of this vicarious, virtual taste of the tropics.
