Yellow Agave

I’ve been meaning to try running a poll. I might play around with the styling and other options a bit, so bear with me. Let me know if anything gets funky or explodes.

Love this inspired silliness, from a brilliant title all the way through!

Yeah, I find that agave pretty funny, like an unintentional topiary. I guess tequila growers in Mexico call the harvested agaves ‘pinas’ but I haven’t seen one this big or planted in the ground.

Topiary is exactly what I thought! Maybe there needs to be a whole new take on the old practice that only mediterranean gardeners can pull off. Just stick a couple giant eyeballs and a big mouth on the poor plant’s “head” and you’d have a pretty interesting headpiece going on…

What you describe sounds like a giant agave version of Mr. Potato Head. I admit I haven’t ever sen that before, and it would probably fit into the neighborhood aesthetic.
